A Very Emotional Farewell...

We all met at the Temecula ICA office at 6am in the morning to drop the kids off with the ICA staff who took the children to LAX for their 11am flight. It was a very, very emotional time for everyone.
I thank all of our donors who supported us during Leo's stay with us and donated time, money, clothing, etc. for Leo and the other filipino orphans. I want you to know that we did meet our goal of $1000. We were able to raise a total of $1040, which went to cover basic necessities, food, clothing, shoes, transportation, entertainment including a day in Disneyland, expenses at presentation outings, etc. etc. We also used the monies for the Humanitarian Aid we sent home with the kids and bought toys, books, school supplies, badmitton rackets, and baby necessities like wipes, diaper rash ointment and teething gel. All will be distributed to various orphanges in the PI.

We want to say a special thank you to our supporters:

I would also like to thank all those who gave Leo any words of encouragement, a smile, a hug or a prayer. Your kindness meant so much to all of us, especially him. I know all the children had a wonderful time. And I know that Leo loved and enjoyed everyone he met....

Last but not least, we want you all to know that:

After a lot of praying, Marvin, Maile, and I have made the decision to adopt Leo. We love him so much and truly feel in our hearts that it is God's will for him to be a permanent part of our family. God is so good and we are grateful that he put Leo in our path and are excited, joyful, and a little anxious about what's in store for us but we know we have the strength, courage, and provision of God to rely on!!!

We love you all and pray that God works miracles in your lives like he has in ours!!!!

Continue to be a blessing to others and you will be Blessed!!! God is so awesome!
